		<description>My favourite ghost technique is as follows:

1) Long exposure (30 seconds is good)
2) Dark!
3) Fire flash at the beginning of the exposure.

Makes the subject semi-translucent (see my shot &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjmphotos/1196248231/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;.
