To get this colorful look, attach TIM's flash and try each color flash filter with every photo you snap. Here, we alternated between red, blue, green, and yellow. If you're wondering how we got 4 separate shots together, we actually put two half-frame shots side by side in a photo editor. Shoot with one eye open at a time for a split frame (like the Double Shot!). Close one of the lenses (aka make TIM wink) and take a photo. Make sure not to wind the film between your half-frame shots. Before taking the next shot, hold down the multi-exposure button. Close the lens that you shot with the first time, and open the lens that was closed. Fire the shutter again, and you've made your first in-camera diptych! Multiple exposures are magical. How else would you photograph an escalator that rides into the sky? Go on a multiple exposure spree! There's no limit to how many times you can expose: this photo was exposed more than twice. All you have to do is make sure to not wind the film and press down the multiple exposure button between shots. Go CRAZY. Combine every possible mode you can think of! This photo has it all: multiple exposure, half-frames, red, yellow, and blue color flash. Find out what happens when you go snap-happy. TIM's lenses will always fire at the same time. (This is why you have to close one eye at a time to get half-frame pics.) So, what happens if you leave both of his eyes open? He'll take the same photo from slightly different angles. • When you take your photos in to get developed, let them know that some of or all of your photos have two images in one frame.
• Shoot with one eye open at a time for a split frame (like the Double Shot!).
• Shoot with both eyes open to photograph the same image twice, from slightly different angles. This will create a 3-D stereo image. View the 3-D effect by creating an animated image, using a stereo viewer, or putting your eyes out of focus. Learn how to view 3-D in our tutorial.
• Open the eyes half way to expose half a circle, don’t wind and then open the eye fully to expose the rest of the shot. It's like putting together a collage as you shoot!
• Overlap different color flash shots with the multiple exposure button, while shooting in split frame camera mode. Whoa.
