Our sight doesn't stop at 4x6, so why should our photos? Panoramas broadened our horizons, but we wondered: was it possible to take our panoramic photos beyond their limits...to 360°? Stitching photos was an option, but we could spot unsightly seams. A seamless 360° photograph seemed but a dream. No longer. Introducing the 360 Spinner Pano Camera. A 35mm camera custom-built to photograph the panorama to end all panoramas.
Pull the ripcord to send the camera into a complete spin, capturing the full panoramic scope of your eye's view, plus yourself and everything behind you. (This is the only camera that will almost always get the photographer in the photo!)
A sturdy handle and a level that sits atop the camera will keep your shot straight. Or experiment by tilting, or manually controlling the exposure with the ripcord. (Yes, ripcord!) Just release slowly for a longer exposure.
At last, our panoramic dreams have come full circle. (Special thanks to our pals Lauren Lemon, Mark Lobo and Lomokev for the awesomesauce shots.) |
