Camera + Dog = Awesomeness! (The Photojojo Doggie-Cam)

Alright, so you have a camera. You have a dog, too. What do you do?

Put 'em together!

Finally, figure out what Fido's doing when you're not looking. See what kind of mischievous things the mutt gets into at night. Experience life from your pup's perspective!

Tried this out yet? Let us know how it went! If you have a Vimeo account, go ahead and stick up the video footage – we'd love to see it!

Hey!  I've been using a dogcam for years: http://www.flickr.com/photos/barrielynn … 953865192/

I got started with it from this engadget post: http://ww.engadget.com/entry/2116781680277657/

Interestingly, when I was looking up the above link I ran across this link: http://www.engadget.com/2005/02/22/the- … am-system/  about English Firearm Dogs using wireless, infrared, headmounted cameras.  I would LOVE to get my paws on one of those!  I upgraded my version of the dogcam this year to make it waterproof and at least somewhat shock resistant since I would absolutely love to get photos from the dogs' POV when they're playing frisbee and in the hose, etc.  My thing lately has been taking pics of the dogs while they're taking pics of me.

Barrie, Jenny, those are truly great!

I love that you had the same idea we did, Jenny – just a long, long time before we did. Heheh!

Barrie, the nifty James Bond spycam you use looks really convenient. I'd love to buy one and use it for my cat - we always wonder what he gets up to.

TK, Dakota is adorable. What kind of dog is he? (BTW, unfortunately both your links are the same. Was there another you meant to link to?)

Daniel, as I'm sure Jenny will also tell you, you get the same pic over and over and over again ;-)  It's still fun though!
