Thanks everyone!  I used to subscribe to Australian Smocking & Design.  They show the most beautiful photographs of children and smocking and I believe I got this pattern from them.  I made First Communion dresses for both of my daughters from their patterns, as well.

Ladies giving thanks to the Virgin Mary in Kamena Vrata (Stone Gate) Zagreb. There's a statue of Mary there that is said to have survived a fire. And the votive tables on the walls say just that - Thanks (Hvala)

Rodia, that is a beautiful shot of your grandfather and his garden. Where is it taken?

Kdrake, that is a really cute photo and the smocking is superb, even to my untrained eyes :-). Have you thought of adding it to one of the flickr Groups, such as "anything crafty" or "Groovy Crafty Women's Association"? May as well publicize your talents for many to appreciate :-).

Thanks guys! That photo was taken in Cracow. The garden isn't really a garden because grandpa lives in a flat...and he's taken it upon himself to make the courtyard look GREEN.
