Imthinkingoutloud, Love all your cat photos. They are excellent.
This is a photo of one of my cats. I have 5, 2 are mine 3 belong to my children, one is my granddaughters. 2 are rescues. Weebil though is one of my cats Stormy's litters. He is part Manx, part Maine Coon.

If cats set the dogs straight right from the beginning, they rule for life! Long ago, I had a six month old kitten, Pete, when I brought home my puppy, Demon. The first thing Pete did was hold his ground when Demon went for him. He then proceeded to paw slap Demon in the face at lightning speed after which Demon ran yelping and cowered under the table! After that Pete sauntered up to Demon and lovingly rubbed against him several times. From that day on they were the best of friends for fifteen years, but Pete was the one in charge. If Pete was sitting in a doorway, Demon would respectfully wait until Pete allowed him through!

That's pretty much how it happened with them? We've had Duck for about 10 years...the dog, Miyagi just turned 2 in September. Miyagi wanted to play with Ducky when he was a puppy and all it took was a swipe of the claw/paw in the eye and Miyagi has since allowed Ducky to be in control.
