What Are You Grateful For?

 This week is Thanksgiving here in the US, and we've been thinking about the things we're thankful for.

Among the frontrunners are the smell of fresh bread, that old Belle & Sebastian album that always makes everything better, and the ability to see (that one's pretty major).

What are you grateful for? Take pictures of the things that make you glad and post them here for everybody to see!

In the last three years my life changed a lot. I stepped out from my parent's house to my own, got a better job, got into a marriage. Well, not everything was roses in those three years for me with all these changes, and I'm very grateful that I had my children to keep me smilling in the black rain days.

I'm grateful for this guy...he makes me laugh and gets me up and going sometimes when I might just want to lay on the couch.  If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't see images like this during out walks in the woods:

I am extremely grateful for my three beautiful children: Max (in the middle), Crystal (to the left of me) and Alex (to the right.)  I loved every minute of the thirty years that I was Alex' Mom.  He blessed my life in so many ways.

Um, yeah, sorry everybody. We didn't mean to imply that traditional grace isn't cool, or that there's anything wrong with it. Kim wrote in to set us straight:

"what is wrong with saying grace for thanksgiving...why should one, in your well intended article, not say grace, yet enumerate things they are thankful for?..don't alienate spiritual believers here..we should all give thanks, say grace if we want to, and count our blessings/things, people, memories we are thankful for."
