Here's one of a red Trillium I took a while ago. Before I started to learn about things like the rule of thirds. But I like the perspective I got on it and I think it just looks nice, in general. Comments welcome!

Things are maybe not quite as they seem... all of the pics I have posted were lit by a pair of off camera flashguns, so they are perhaps not strictly natural smile
The resizing of the bud one has mangled a lot of the detail. the print looks much nicer - you can see all the hairs clearly.

PS; when someone claims to be an expert, think of this: Ex = has been, Spurt = drip under pressure wink
anyone can make good pictures if they try hard enough
