I'm not sure this is my best but it's the closest thing I've got on flickr thus far!

I think this my favorite curvy photo, but I like the one from Laura - that was a hard shot to get - colors are so close.

Yeah, these really are all spectacular, all so varied in terms of subject. I might change the topic adjective to "favorite" rather than "best", because even I'm intimidated by the word and I started the thread!
stephiedee, are they Xmas ornaments? I've never seen those kinds of wires/hangy things.
other_me, where was that taken? is it the guardrail that's glowing? Pretty amazing!

Thanks for making me feel comfortable enough to post my pictures. I still think everyone else's pictures are far better than mine though. I love the lighting on smacss and there is just something about black and white photos that just make a picture more than just a picture. I enjoy the fact that we can post our pictures without fear of ridicule. Nandita, your picture is awsome, very original. I took mine from the roof of my house using my Canon Rebel tt 35 mm. I used a tripod and set the exposure time for about 8 seconds. I then waited for a car to drive by. The white lights belonged to a car I didn't expect to see.
Keep up the great ideas Alicia, they're alot of fun.

Alicia, they're your standard Christmas ornaments (I have a penchant for cheap, colorful decorations). Things tend to look a bit different close-up

Best thing still about sharing these, or any photos, is seeing the world thru someone else's eyes. My horizons expand daily Looking forward to more.

It's the Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg, I believe. (I visited so many places on that trip, I forget if it was Salzburg or Vienna! Pretty sure it's Salzburg though!)
