Batch Editing?
So I just got back from my Arizona trip and I have about 1500 pictures I need to resize. Does anyone know of any way I can do it all together instead of having to change em all individually?

Welcome back charliesuh! Do you use iPhoto or something else? I know on iPhoto you can edit them all together. I think it's actually just called "Edit" and you can pick from sizes.

You could record a quick Photoshop action then batch it on the whole folder.
Or if you're on a Mac and use Quicksilver, install the Image Manipulation Actions Plug-in and do it via Quicksilver! (Though if you're not already a Quicksilver fan, this is probably the most confusing possible way to accomplish your goal..)

In Photoshop (Elements, but I'm pretty sure it stands in other versions too) go to File > Process Multiple Files.

Hey Charlie,
These screenshots are from CS3, but the steps are the same in PS7, which is what I was using last..
Step 1: Hit the record button in the Actions palette and make the alterations to one image that you want to make to all your images. Hit stop.

Step 2: Select File > Automate > Batch

Step 3: Choose the action you just created, the files you want to change, and set any other options you want. Photoshop will do the rest!

As a side note, be sure to make a copy of all your original files. When using batch/droplett it is very easy to replace your originals.

Is there really a resize thing on iPhoto? I can't believe it! Never knew that... And I still can't find it. Can someone help me with that?

Hello there!....
Well, based on my experience.. I'm a special event photographer, and I often got home with hundreds of images, I was running some batch actions in photoshop, and tried other softwares, but since I wanted to improve my workflow, I started using this new software Adobe has.. it's called Ligthroom, is not that cheap, but it is pretty useful is you are handling dozens, hundred or even thousands of images.. or you just want to keep your photo library organized... it also has the ability to export/resize the images to the settings you want.. high/res....
If any of you are already using lightroom, here is a link where you can get some useful tips!

Good luck ya'll!...
