This is one of my favorite people pictures. It's of my mom peeking out of a hotel bathroom because she forgot something she needed in there. Taken while on vacation with my family in India. Love it because it just reminds me of  my playful and fun mom. smile

Aha! THERE's the photo! Bad HTML skills. Bear with me - I seem to have a mental block with that stuff.

I changed my buddy icon just before I logged on to this site last time. I see I am now an avatar-less gray face here. Oh, that's just sad. 

I just checked my flickr site - my avatar is fine there.

Thanks for responding so quickly.

i love how the bright yellows came out in the hair & lens flare.  the focus on the buildings emphasises how concrete they are--in contrast to the slightly blurred people, who will always be on the move.

Oooh, the English major in me is liking that last one, acy!  The colors in the second one are really great, indeed.  I love when that just happens, the right contrasts.  When I took this picture of my boyfriend climbing a tree, I was really glad he wore a red shirt that day!
