Jewel Case Frame Project!

So I just found this site a couple days ago and I'm so glad I did! I went through every page of the archives and ended up staying up till sunrise! I've been missing out! Anyway, all my pictures have just been stacking up and sitting on my computer and I figured now that I got a photo printer (Canon iP6700). So when I saw the post with the Jewel Case frames my eyes lit up and I jumped right on it. I used some shots from a beach set I took a few months ago at Huntington Beach.  I plan on making a few more sets since it's attached with velcro and it's easy to change/rearrange.  I love photojojo.com

Oh, and I know that in the post they were vertical and mine are horizontal, I just felt it worked better with these shots.

@bot:   If those images of the green plants and the walkway are what you're going to use for this project I think it'll look great!

And the placement is the most important thing, but don't stress it too much, since velcro is one of the most amazing inventions EVER!

I did this too!! What fun and I got inspired to do another project ... Took a CD Case and removed guts, put photos measured and cut as stated and put them back to back in both the front and back of the case. You have to measure the front and back separately.
The front photos stay nicely because of the little tabs but the back was a problem.
To fit the photos in the back part of the case, I used clear photo corners from the local hobby store stuck into the corners of the case.  This way you can  fit the two back photos so that they stay put.  I now have a stand up frame with 4 photos...love it!!
Thanks for the inspiration

Hi charlie, i watched the video but i couldn't understand how the velcro makes the frame stick to the wall. How did u make them stick? Can u pls explain? Cos as far as i know, velcro only works on fabrics, not stone walls or plaster.

*Still confused* sad

You obviously need special stone velcro big_smile

Nah, in the video they had two pieces of sticky velcro and stuck one to the wall and another to the back of the case.  You'd buy the two pieces as a pair and each one has glue backs.

Velcro would be nice for switching the pictures out but you could probably attach it with anything.
