STEP 1. FIND A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL BLANK WALL
Everyone has an empty wall they’ve been saving for something special. Now all you have to do is measure the width and height to find out how many prints you’ll need to cover it.
Hint: Our prints are 4 feet by 3 feet.
STEP 2. BREAKING-UP IS EASY TO DO
Use photoshop to split your image into four (or more) individual images. Save your new files.
Now you’re ready to order your prints! Do it! And then wait for the mailman …
STEP 3. GET YOUR PRINTS AND TRIM
They’re here they’re here! Time to lay out your prints and trim them to fit your wall. Scissors will definitely do the trick.
If you happen to have a yardstick, a utility knife and a big cutting mat (a flattened cardboard box even) that works a bit better.
STEP 4. STICK EM UP
Apply your adhesive of choice to the top and bottom of each panel.
We used Scotch 3M removable adhesive so we won’t damage the wall’s paint if we ever want to take down our mural.
STEP 5. JOIN THE GRID
Make sure you line up your prints perfectly so it appears to be one giant image. A little patience and perfection goes a long way here. Leave no seam behind.
Ta-da! Your room looks good!
