What next? How about some killer custom contact photos? We adore these trapped-inside-the-iPhone style contact pics we found via our pal Brad Smith. If you’ve got a Jesus phone, grab a friend, gently prod them face-first into the nearest scanner (or glass door) and get going! (And if you have a friend with an iPhone, be sure to forward this along.) The technique yields amazing smooshed contact photos (”smooshtacts!”) for an iPhone, but it also makes a great background pic for any other mobile phone.

[...] Life for all of us is filled with its little comedies. And tragedies. Not sure if i ever told you this before, but historically, some of the most terrible events of my life occur on July 14th. This past Saturday’s was no exception. One terrible event would have been difficult enough, but two were what the furies had in mind. Just how devastating an impact these events will have on my future, if any at all, remains to be seen. My first reaction was to curl in a ball and scream. That lasted all of a few minutes, after which i realized i had best learn to go with the flow. But you’ll excuse me if i’m less “chatty” than usual and allow me a few days to bounce back, yes? The good news is that in order to keep thoughts from straying into darker waters, i’ve been concentrating my efforts towrds giving this blog an actual design, and i’m about a third finished. Since the one true constant in my life has always been the sea, i decided to adopt her blue and green temperment. Soft and cool. The better news is that i’m beginning to realize how much less me iv’e become over the past two years. Time to let go the safety nets, re-join the fray and live out loud. “I get all caught up in my own world sometimes.” Extraordinary images underscored by simple, astute commentary.
