[...] I found this great video tutorial online and I have to say, I much like the method she did rather than mine (I didn’t have clothespins so I just held the papers together with my left hand. So NOT recommended…unless of course you have a working 3rd or 4th hand.)
[...] Dove Commercial Posted on January 4, 2008 by blakejohnson I was looking through Photoshop tutorial sites tonight, a result from my newfound fascination with Photojojo, and found this. It’s a pretty interesting video, and though Dove uses these goodwill-spirited pieces as their advertising campaigns, I think they deserve credit for the way they’re put together and the fact that they’re shown so openly and liberally. That’s really what kind of statement it is, anyway, a liberal one. Anyway, I saw this and wanted to share it, since we’re bombarded with “beauty” and society’s expectations and standards of that beauty all the time. So here’s the link. Enjoy (or something… I don’t know if enjoying is really what you’ll do with this).
[...] Make Your Own Journal. This is my only repeat from my past DIY gift post (for the ladies on your list), but it would be a fun gift for any guy who writes or draws. Perfect for beginners, this video tutorial shows you how to make a journal using paper, glue, and some 4×6 photos. [...]

[...] Oh, one last thing. Traci asked for this notebook tutorial. I’ve made a few of the notebooks–I used “Aleene’s Tacky Glue” for the spine, which worked really well. The video is really clear…If I remember correctly I had to do a bit of digging to get to the source site for the video before it would play. Let me know if you need that. [...]
